Marriage Show celebrates eight years in regional

The 9th annual Brown Regional Marriage Show gave town to be able to connect with local business owners the 2009 weekend. The case, which included a vendor area and a fashion show for wedding gowns and bridesmaids' dresses, was sponsored by CR Tours and Travel, in Georgetown, and attracts a large crowd each year. According to CR Tours and Travel owner Doug Farst, the show is a way to help brides-to-be find essential wedding services while encouraging residents to search local.

 "This is our 9th year putting on the Brown Regional Marriage Show, inches Farst said. "We've provided this service to Brown Regional so we can show what the regional has to offer and to show that you don't have to go out of regional to buy for a wedding. We encourage visitors to shop local. inches "I think we had a good event this year, with a lot of good vendors and much of great people out here, inches Farst said. Reaction to the case was positive, with many upcoming brides stating they had found a much needed option for their weddings. Kristin Schadle said her tentative date for your wedding is Sept. 14, and that the case helped to close some breaks in the planning process. "I discovered the case through Facebook, inches Schadle said.

 "It has been informative, I found some cakes and a good DJ when it reaches this event. inches Ashley Adams said her date for your wedding will be June 6. Adams said she discovered the case by way of a local paper, and traveled to Georgetown to see what options were available. "I discovered this through the Times Gazette in Highland Regional, inches Adams said. "I've been looking at the DJs here, since i don't have one scheduled yet. inches Mercedes Slusher said she is planning to get married in April 2014. Slusher said she's got found several needed planners during the event.

 "I discovered the case through some customers at work, they have the travel agency here, inches Slusher said. "The thing I've found helpful is the tables and chairs. The girl who's doing which is going to help me out with my wedding a lot. inches Danny Godby's tentative date for your wedding is Jan. 4. Godby said one of the things she was looking forward to about this year's event was the marriage show, which showed off dresses from local merchants. "There are a lot of good vendors here, inches Godby said. "One thing which is going to help me out for sure is one vendor who is doing shower invitations. I haven't had that part of my wedding planned yet and which is going to be very helpful. I'm waiting for the marriage show, because seeing different dresses is going to be really helpful for me locating out what I'd like to see. This has been a very great event and I'm very gracious we have a product like this in Brown Regional. inches Many of the models for this year's show were given by Girl Scout Troop 24066. Model's hair was kind of by Valore Salon, in Georgetown.
